Fire and Allied Perils policy covers the damage to property insured by floods, fire and allied perils including earthquake, riot, strike and civil commotion. We recommend this cover for every enterprise because of the catastrophic consequences of Fire. This policy is now a bank requirement before any debenture agreements are approved and is equally a must have for every property.

One does not generally cover land but the assets built on it. Political violence and terrorist acts are not covered under this policy.
